United Way for Greater Austin Pre-K Partnerships are here to help families with child care regardless of socioeconomic status. For almost 100 hundred years, the United Way for Greater Austin has been bringing people together to fight poverty in the Austin area. Now, during these Coronavirus times, the nonprofit is providing resources for people in need of food, child care, and health related issues. The United Way has partnered with Austin ISD and 11 local child development centers to provide high quality Pre-K in a safe space for in person learning.
Madison, from the United Way for Greater Austin, stopped by Local Insights to spread the word about the great work the nonprofit does throughout the year for the community, and how parents of 3-4 year olds can find child care. Spread the word!
