Time to Rodeo Austin!

Get out to the Travis County Expo Center through March 25th and experience a ProRodeo, fair, stock show, delicious food, and a concert series. The best part about enjoying Rodeo Austin is that you’ll be giving back to the youth of Texan looking to further their education. Rodeo Austin has awarded over 8.7 MILLION dollars in scholarships since 1981!

Glen Alan Phillips, CEO of Rodeo Austin, stopped by Local Insights. He shared the success of the event and the importance of giving back to the future of Texas education. Fair, Rodeo, and Concert Series

The fairgrounds is super fun! You can eat delicious fried food, shop, see live music and enjoy the the largest carnival in Austin! Opportunities for Williamson & Burnet Counties

If you’ve never heard of Opportunities for Williamson & Burnet Counties, you’ve probably heard of their programs. As a whole, the OWBC is a local community action agency. The goal is to give people a “hand-up” when they need help. Through Head Start, Meals on Wheels, and their Community Block Grant Services, they help support Central Texans in need.
