Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie, released in November 1998, hit #1 on the Billboard 200 Album chart and went triple platinum in the U.S. The album arrived three years after Morissette’s 1995 album, Jagged Little Pill, and featured the top 20 single “Thank U,” which Alanis wrote with Glen Ballard (who also produced Jagged Little Pill). “Thank U” was also nominated for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance at the 2000 Grammy Awards.
