Now that you’re in the loop, LA Lloyd is very happy to welcome Alyse Zavala and Oscar Romero to co-host the L.A. Lloyd Rock 30 this Saturday at 9pm!
They will take you from the beginning of the band, formed in Raleigh, NC, to the present. Alyse and Oscar met through a mutual friend and decided to start a band with a male rapper/female singer dynamic. They emphasize the importance of exploring different genres and expressing unique perspectives through their music. You’ll learn about their approach to songwriting, focusing on the same emotion but from different perspectives, and how this dynamic relates to more people. Oscar adds that the dual vocalist style allows them to learn how to intertwine their stories together, often through conflict & strain.
Their current single is called XXX and is impossible not to sing along to!
