12th Annual Cpl. Chad O PTSD Fundraiser is November 7th at the VFW Post #10427 in Leander. The Cpl. Chad Eric Oligschlager Foundation for PTSD is an amazing nonprofit. They provide “a positive difference in the lives of our troops suffering from the stress, adversity and trauma encountered while serving our country.” The nonprofit does everything from raising awareness of PTSD to the general public, providing free PTSD treatment (pharmaceutical free) from Dr. Tania Glenn, to helping provide temporary housing to returning Veterans.
Eric Oligschlaeger started this foundation 12 years ago when his son passed away due to “multiple drug toxicity”. Chad was being prescribed 12 separate forms of medication from the VA. Eric and the Oligschlaeger family’s mission is to see every Veteran receive actual care for PTSD. They want to ensure that no other family has to go through what they did. Dr. Tania Glenn brings her expertise in treating First Responders and Veterans for PTSD all DRUG FREE for no cost to the Veteran. On November 7th from 11am-5pm at the Leander VFW #10427, Veterans and supporters will gather for the 12th Annual Cpl. Chad O Foundation Benefit to help raise funds to pay for Veterans treatment of PTSD. Hear all about the fun day filled with food, music from Shannon Book and Kevin & Becca, raffles, and support of the Veteran community, on this episode of Local Insights. Spread the word!
