I am a small town girl livin’ in the big city. I’m at a point in my life where I am in between really wanting to stay in and cuddle with my dog, or go on a scavenger hunt for the best tacos in Austin.
2) What kind of Rock Girl photo shoot do you envision?
I would love to have a pinup, rockabilly, or cowgirl styled shoot. Maybe at a bowling alley, gun range, or a tennis court theme.
3) What is the weirdest thing you’ve seen or been a part of in Austin?
Halloween fell on a Wednesday this particular year, my friends and I decided it would work out best if we dress up the weekend before instead of the weekend after Halloween. We decided to dress up as a group of creepy, but very sexy clowns (some of us)! Needless to say, we scared the shit out of everyone. After a long night of partying then eating at Starseeds, my friends and I decided to go back to the house we got ready at. We get in an Uber, one thing leads to another, and two blocks from the house I got us kicked out of the Uber in what seems like a hurricane. My friends were pissed!
4) Who is your favorite KLBJ Radio Personality?
Honestly, it just depends what’s going on in my life. I’ve been living in Austin for about 6 years now and in the Austin area for 8. I’ve had many stages in my life, from having to get up to go to work at the crack of dawn or getting home late at night. There have only been two people that come to mind: Dale Dudley in the mornings and CJ Morgan rocking it out back home.
5) How does being a Rock Girl further your life goals?
I’ve been “modeling” for, I’d say 6 years, and after all this time I was actually nervous to show off my photos. But only in the past year, I’ve started working with new photographers and getting my name/brand out there. This would not only push my goals, but my self-esteem to keep pushing my name/brand (Betty Lou Fox) until I get where I want.
6) Why? (not related to the above just an existential question)??
Why not? Either go for it or get the hell outa the way.
