Local legend and former KLBJ 93.7 personality Johnny Walker passed away on Monday, and the outpouring of love on social media has been incredible. In many of the comments, fans mention his deep voice and down-to-earth delivery, and it made me want to see if I could find some recordings of him, and after some digging, I did! Here’s what we call an aircheck in the biz–short bits of him on the air, edited together, along with a couple of commercials that he recorded (check out that lineup on the Antone’s commercial!)
