Marcos Curiel and LA took over the American airwaves as P.O.D. co-hosted the L.A. Lloyd Rock 30June 22-23.
They talked about their album Veritas which is Latin for “the truth.”
Honesty has always been the foundation of P.O.D. in regard to their music and the live performances. There are some guests featured on Veritas including Randy Blythe from Lamb of God, Cove Reber from Saosin, and Tatiana Shmayluk from the Ukrainian band Jinjer.
When L.A. asked Marcos about these collaborations, he preferred to call them “features.” The reason for this? “A collaboration means we sat together and we wrote the songs together. Feature, meaning we wrote it and did everything and we toss it to them. Sonny has lyrics and says, ‘here would you mind singing this?'”
