Ruthie Foster – Mileage
The single “Rainbow,” off Ruthie Foster‘s 10th studio album Milage, came out at the end of May but the album is finally available for purchase today!
From her website,
“Mileage finds the singer-songwriter reflecting on a life full of professional triumphs, personal loss, and a musical journey that took a self-described “little Black girl with a guitar” from singing at churches in rural Texas to chalking up multiple Grammy nominations and collaborating with fellow greats such as Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks.”
Rainbow is a beautiful anthem of folk-blues and southern rock; a feel-good tune, for sure.

Jon Anderson + The Band Geeks – True
If you’re feeling extra Classic Rock today, Jon Anderson of YES joined The Band Geeks after a tour in 2023 to make their own album together in the studio, True!
All fans of Jon Anderson and YES will enjoy this new album.
Oh, and Band Geek‘s band leader is Richie Castellano, an independent producer and songwriter. When he’s not in the studio, he’s on tour with the classic rock band BLUE ÖYSTER CULT, if you’ve heard of ’em.
