Wheel — Charismatic Leaders
Check out the music video for “Empire” off the new album Charismatic Leaders, out May 3rd from the rock band Wheel. Somehwere between rock and heavy metal this album has everything you could want if you enjoy bands like Tool. Meshuggah guitarist Fredrik Thordendal and Daniel Bergstrand (of Meshuggah, Devin Townsend, and In Flames) worked on the album as engineers/co-producers. Buy their stuff!

If you haven’t already happily discovered Mdou Moctar, He is a Tuareg songwriter and musician based in Agadez, Niger, who performs modern rock music inspired by Taureg guitar. The wikipedia article alone will have you questioning why you aren’t already experiencign the music already!
