New Kids on the Block – Still Kids

New Kids on the Block is finally back with new music today, and not just a re-release box set with booklets. While they reunited in 2007 and have released a few projects since, Band member Donnie Wahlberg says Still Kids is the most mature, fun, and comfortable album the band has made to date. Their single “Kids,” was released March 5th but you can revisit it below and purchase or listen to Still Kids today!

Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats – Nell’ Ora Blu

Meaning, “The Blue Hour,” this new album from Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats strays slightly away from heavier, doom-and-gloom metal they are well known for and finds a home in a 70’s-arthouse film noir room 15 years into their career.

Still doomy and mysterious, while engaging and cerebral, the tone of the album can be surmised from looking at the album art on this one! It sounds exactly as it looks and we love it.

Check out this review from Metal Injection if you’d like to dig in deeper, then take a listen to the lead track of the album, “Il sole sorge sempre,” below!

Well known drummer and formerly in ATX’s Scorpion Child, Jon “The Charn” Rice plays with Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats, and he’ll also be slaying drums at Big Texas Metal Fest at the end of the month at The Far Out Lounge with his other metal band, The Red Chord.

Make sure to secure your tickets to the fest or enter to win from our contest page through May 17th!

SEBASTIAN BACH – Child Within the Man

Nothing sounds more classic rock than Sebastian Bach‘s newest release Child Within the Man. The songs are classic all the way around: the album art has a classic vibe, the vocals and power chords are everything you want it to be, plenty of long hair to bang around. Just great.

Check out the new album released today, and the video for “(Hold On) To The Dream,” released at the end on April.

BONUS: The video for Everybody Bleeds is also really great if you need more Sebastian Bach in your life.
