Slash – Orgy of the Damned
The Guns N’ Roses guitarist’s sixth solo album is out today, 5/17 with a plethora of guest musicians including Brian Johnson, Steven Tyler, Iggy Pop, Paul Rodgers, Chris Stapleton, Beth Hart, Gary Clark Jr., Billy EFFIN’ Gibbons, and so many more! If you’re in the mood for some blues rock, get your record player out and be sure to blast this one!

FREEDOM – Stay Free
Swedish Rockers FREEDOM released their newest album Stay Free today, and you can check out the official music video for “Tonight” below on youtube!
Everything you love about classic rock party ballads and harmonies with a kickin’ fun solo, you’ll find it all in their song “Tonight.”
How this band captures the vibe of “American Heartland Rock,” still escapes us, but we love it, and the video is plain ole fun! Check it out below and buy their tunes here!
SHELLAC – All to Trains
It would be wrong not to tip the hat to a man who has had a hand in hundreds upon hundreds of bands and music over the years who recently left this world on May 8th at the young age of 61.
Here’s a video of the songs The Girl from Outside & My Black Ass from Hard Hit Magazine in 2023 where his noise rock band Shellac played a new song off the album All To Trains, released today on 5/17.
R.I.P. Legend.
Little Feat – Sam’s Place
Sam’s Place is the first blues album of Little Feat‘s career, and first album they’ve released in 12 years. It covers from material from Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon, Little Walter, Howlin’ Wolf and more.
“Little Feat have composed an album that is their love letter to the blues.” Check out the official music video for “Can’t be Satisfied,” below, written by blues legend Muddy Waters.
It has Sam Clayton on lead vocals, Bill Payne on piano, Kenny Gradney on bass, Fred Tackett on electric guitar, Scott Sharrard on slide guitar, and Tony Leone on drums.

Kerry King – From Hell I Rise
The first solo record from Slayer guitarist, Kerry King is out today, 5/17 and you can preview the title track of the same name on Youtube below!
The lineup on the album includes King, Bostaph, Death Angel vocalist Mark Osegueda, Hellyeah bassist Kyle Sanders, and Vio-lence and former Machine Head guitarist Phil Demmel (Check out this review from Highway81)
