Neil Young Becomes Official U.S Citizen

Neil Young performs on stage in Hyde Park on July 12, 2019 in London, England.

Neil Young was recently spotted leaving the Tom Bradley Hall at the Los Angeles Convention Center after becoming an official US citizen, 54 years after moving to the states. The Canadian born singer clarified that he became a citizen so he could participate in the US elections. That hasn’t come easy, however. Young explained that even though he passed the American citizenship test, he was told he must do another test due to a new Policy Alert into the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services law and his use of marijuana.
